To be held during the American Association for Higher Education (AABHE) conference, this program will be operationalized in three segments:

Segment One: Writing for Publication
A writing instructor will engage the group through practical strategies to assist in the writing process.

Segment Two: Framing and Maintaining a Research Agenda
Critical elements in developing a tenure and promotion dossier.

Segment Three: Meet the Editors
Several journal editors of refereed journals will offer insight into getting published in scholarly venues.

The primary goal of this Boot-Camp is to underscore for participants the key elements necessary to be successful in the tenure and promotion process.

Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops and articles that are in process.

Please note: The 2019 Research & Writing Boot Camp is a separate event, it will coincide with the 2019 AABHE National Conference. All meals are included in the registration rate. You may only choose one event to attend this year.
